Biography

After painting abstract and semi-abstract works and doing whimsical drawings, Haber has recently concentrated on producing digital computer art. Haber found digital computer art facilitated modification of original lines and colors, and is particularly suitable for moving from spontaneity to a more organized, expressive picture as the image develops. The opposite of moving from the figurative to free expression is also facilitated by the digital medium. The works presented here, "Seven Images Inspired by the Book of Job," are examples of such works. The images were created using Adobe Photoshop software. Haber also creates images using Corel Draw and Painter software and has experimented with animation. In addition to showing in galleries and on the Web, his work is printed in limited editions.
