N.A.W.A. members are professional women artists whose work has met the standard of the membership jury. Work is reviewed annually in early October. To apply, send a stamped, self-address #10 envelope to:

Sustaining Associate Members

Sustaining Associate Members are non-exhibiting members who are interested in the purpose of N.A.W.A. For a fee of $30.00 a year, these members receive invitations to art receptions and luncheons, copies of our newsletter, and our Annual Catalog, in which they will be listed. For applications, send a stamped, self-addressed envelope to N.A.W.A.


Corporate Involvement and Gifts

Individuals, foundations, and corporations can insure the strength and continuity of the National Association of Women Artists, a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization, by contributing to its ongoing programs. Donations are tax deductible to the extent allowed by law and can be made in honor or memory of someone special. Donations can be directed to:

Annual Awards in recognition of the outstanding artwork by members.
Esther K. Gayner Memorial Speakers Fund for art related lectures.
Exhibition Support to subsidize catalogs, rental fees, or related exhibition expenses.
Member Support to subsidize operating expenses or capital needs.
Permanent Collection Acquisition Fund for expansion of the permanent collection at the Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum at Rutgers University in New Jersey.
Student Scholarships administered by the Art Students League of NY.
